About Elliott Aster: Elliott Aster is poised to become a vibrant addition to St. Petersburg's culinary scene, offering refined dinners in the beautiful dining room, as well as a bustling waterfront patio for aperitivos and cocktails.Chef Lee Wolen's elegant menu highlights handmade pasta and carefully sourced steaks cooked over a wood grill. Open Hourly Positions: Line Cooks Accountable for production of food items while maintaining all safety and sanitation standards Safely operate and maintain all kitchen equipment Displays a basic knowledge of cooking techniques and knife skills Responsible for properly prepping for, stocking, and maintaining assigned stations while upholding proper sanitation standards Uphold all standards of quality in food production for prep and service by following standardized recipes Ensures proper sanitation standards are upheld by maintaining a clean and organized workstation, following proper FIFO procedures, and maintaining good personal hygiene Responsible for completing all opening, mid-shift, and closing procedures in a timely manner Prep Cooks Accountable for production of food items while maintaining all safety and sanitation standards Safely operate and maintain all kitchen equipment Display a basic knowledge of cooking techniques and knife skills Responsible for properly prepping of raw ingredients and items recipes for service while upholding proper sanitation standards Uphold all standards of quality in food production by following standardized recipes, labeling, dating, and storing all product appropriately. Ensure proper sanitation standards are upheld by maintaining a clean and organized workstation, following proper FIFO procedures, and maintaining good personal hygiene Responsible for completing all opening, mid-shift, and closing procedures in a timely manner Dishwashers Accountable for cleaning and sanitizing of all FOH and BOH service items while maintaining all safety and sanitation standards Safely operate and maintain all ware washing machines and three-compartment sinks Displays a basic knowledge cleaning and sanitation standard regarding the cleaning of stationary kitchen equipment Responsible for properly cleaning, sanitizing, and storing all dishes and kitchen cookware while upholding proper sanitation standards Ensure safe handling of all easily damaged items while ensuring proper cleaning and sanitation of those items Maintain clean, dry, and refuse free BOH area with a focus on designated dish areas by sweeping, moping, and managing of trash containers continually during shifts Uphold all standards of quality in food receiving and storage by labeling, dating, and storing all product appropriately Ensure proper sanitation standards are upheld by maintaining a clean and organized workstation, following proper FIFO procedures, and maintaining good personal hygiene Responsible for completing all opening, mid-shift, and closing procedures in a timely manner Qualifications: Hardworking High volume kitchen experience Food handlers' certification Flexible schedule This is an ideal position for someone who is dedicated to providing great service and is seeking to become a member of a hard-working and fun team! Physical Requirements: Lift and move up to 10 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Safely and effectively use all necessary tools, equipment, and cleaning chemicals Stand and walk for an entire shift, including moving safely through all areas of the restaurant which may include stairs, uneven, and/or slick surfaces Ability to bear exposure to hot and cold environment If you feel you meet the requirements, are a team player, experienced, passionate, and dedicated to your craft, we want to hear from you!
